May Crowning 2021

On Monday, May 24, 2021, the Memorial of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, the Regina Pacis Academy community celebrated its Annual May Crowning. The festivities began with the celebration of the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, at which our statue of Our Lady was crowned by Anna Mary Berchelmann (Grade 8), assisted by First Communicant Liam Dunne (Grade 2). Students and family members processed during the chanting of the Litany of Loreto and placed flowers before Our Lady’s statue. Following Mass, the RPA community took part in a Rosary Procession, praying aloud the Glorious Mysteries of the Most Holy Rosary in the school parking lot, following behind the ministers and the statue of Our Lady, adorned with beautiful roses and carried high by our strong Grade 8 young men. The afternoon concluded with a festive luncheon enjoyed by students, faculty, and family members alike. After a virtual celebration last year, we were blessed to be able to gather together in person this yea and carry on this wonderful Regina Pacis Academy tradition!
